Game chat commands
Chat commands are simply chat messages written in the public chat and starting with '-' (minus) character. Those commands are divided in public, votes and admin commands.
Public commands, available to everybody:
-help, -info Prints in public chat a small, admin defined, help text.
-hi, -hello Makes the bot greet you.
-tip Prints a random, admin defined, tip.
-list maps, -list missions Prints a list of voteable missions, you have to use map names exactly as listed to vote them.
-list players Prints a list of all players with their PlayerId.
-list cycle
Votes, available to everybody:
-vote disable Starts a vote to disable bot taunts.
-vote enable Starts a vote to enable bot taunts.
-vote map "mapname",
-vote mission "mapname" Starts a vote to change map, note that the map name must be one of that listed by the "-list maps" command and enclosed in " ". The quotes can be omitted only if the map name does not contain spaces or symbols.
Example: -vote map "ColiseumTB"
-vote stop map,
-vote stop mission Starts a vote to stop current map and start the next one.
-vote start map,
-vote start mission Starts a vote to start the currently selected map, this vote is possible in tournament mode only.
-vote kick "playername",
-vote kick <playerId> Starts a vote to kick a player (by name or by ID). The quotes can be omitted only if the map name does not contain spaces or symbols.
-vote admin "playername" Starts a vote to make a public admin.
-vote tournament on|off Starts a vote to start/stop the tournament mode.
-vote yes, -yes Lets you vote yes on the running vote. Once cast a vote cannot be changed.
-vote no, -no Lets you vote no on the running vote. Once cast a vote cannot be changed.
Admin commands, available to public admins only:
-disable Disables the bot.
-enable Enables the bot.
-map "mapname" Changes the map. The quotes can be omitted only if the map name does not contain spaces or symbols.
-start map, -start mission Starts the currently selected map, this command is only possible in tournament mode.
-stop map, -stop mission Stops current map.
-kick "playername",
-kick <playerId> Kicks the specified player (by name or by ID). The quotes can be omitted only if the map name does not contain spaces or symbols.
-ban "playername",
-ban <playerId> Bans the specified player (by name or by ID). The quotes can be omitted only if the map name does not contain spaces or symbols.
-tournament on|off Starts or stops the tournament mode.
-admin "playername" on Gives the public admin status to a player.
-admin "playername" off Revokes the public admin status from a player.
-bot on Enables bot taunts.
-bot off Disable bot taunts.
-clients Shows the IP of all connected telnet clients.
-map "mapname" Changes map. The quotes can be omitted only if the map name do not contains spaces or symbols.
-name "servername" Changes the server name (at next reboot).
-password "newpassword" Changes the server password (at next reboot), "" means no password.
-quit Quits both the server and the monitor (no restart).
-reboot Closes and restarts the server.
-say "message" Prints a message into the server chat.
-set <param> <mode> Sets a mission parameter, this command is only valid in Tournament Mode. <param> and "<mode>" can be chosen from:
-NoRespawn on|off
-Visibility "<selection>"
-TimeLimit "<selection>"
-TimeOfDay "<selection>"
-Weather "<selection>"
-StockMechs "<selection>"
-Radar "<selection>"
-Where <selection> is exactly what appears into the server combo box. Example:
-set Visibility "clear" -set visibility "clear"
-set TimeLimit "60"
-set NoRespawn on
-start map, start mission Starts the currently selected map, this command is only possible in tournament mode.
-stop map, stop mission Stops current map.
-tournament on Starts the tournament mode, map cycle is suspended.
-tournament off Stops the tournament mode, map cycle restarts normally.
-rats List player who are in the lobby
-kickrats Kicks players in 30 sec if they do not join
-dropdec1 enables dropdec1
-balance enable balance
-n00b='"declare %2 a n00b","%2 has been declared a n00b"'
-boring='"declare this a boring game","this mission has beed declared boring"'
-ace='"declare %2 an ace pilot","%2 was declared an ace"'
-MyMech='"%1 is using a %t tons %m"'
-MyScore='"%1 has %k kills, %d deaths and %s suicides"'
-MyTeam='"%1 is on team %a"'
-Puretech='"IS weapons only allowed on IS mechs and Clan weapons only allowed on Clan mechs"'
-Mixtech='"Mixtech means that any weapon is allowed on any mech"'
-Online='"Your online time is %o"'
-Fairplay='"Please, try to keep the teams even as number of players and total tonnage"'
-Name='"Server name: %S"'
Alot of the maps on Angelone have bots. If you want Bots on your map and it is listed then anything with an extra "B" will have bots.
EXP:
-map BigCityTB will have no bots.
-map BigVityTBB will have bots.
Use -list maps to see which maps have bots and which don't.
