How to Setup email 1) Hit Setup email button under the General tab. 2) Fill in perferred SMTP host. Example: smtp.yourhost.com 3) Fill in perferred Port(You may leave 'as is.'). 4) Fill in perferred Username. 5) Fill in perferred email address. 3) Hit save button. How to configure email alerts 1) Check Enable email alerts under the General tab. 2) Select desired alerts; as of version 1.0.52 the admin may only be alerted of Player Kicks.
How to configure voting 1) Check Enable voting and Kick under the Voting tab. Note: At this time there is no vote banning How to use voting 1) Connect to the mechwarrior server. 2) Type -kickvote playername 3) Type -vote yes to cast a yes vote or -vote no to cast a no vote.
How to configure InGame admins 1) Check Enable ingame admin under the Ingame admin tab 2) Right click on the table and choose New account 3) Fill in account name, password and email (if you plan on using email) and hit save. NOTE: If using email for random passwords You MUST setup email in the General tab. Refer to How to Setup email. How to use the InGame admins 1) Connect to the mechserver. 2) Type -opme password (password=what was configured above). If it worked DEA will say playername is now an admin. 3) Type -kick playername to kick a player off the server. Type -say message to send a server message.
How to configure live webstats 1) Download webstats.php and upload to a webserver with the following: PHP 4.0.0, GD libary and True type fonts. 2) Check Enable live webstats under the NBR tab then Configure the script URL. How to use live webstats 1) Link to the png (by default this file is webstats.png) created by webstats.php on your webserver.
How to configure remote admin 1) Check Enable remote admin under the remote admin tab. 2) Fill in preferred Port and Password.
How to configure ClanBan 1) Check Enable ClanBan under the ClanBan tab. 2) Right click on the table and choose New Clan . 3) Fill in Clan Name . 4) Select action, either kick , ban or say . 5) If say is selected, fill in the message box. 6) Check the Case Sensitive if desired.
How to configure Admin Note 1) Check Enable Admin Note under the Admin Note tab. How to use Admin Note 1) Connect to mechserver. 2) Type -adminnote then a message. NOTE: This is a public Ingame command.
How to configure IRC Bot 1)Under the IRC Bot tab fill in preferred Server. Example irc.dal.net 2) Fill in preferred Channel. Example: #chatterbox 3) Fill in preferred Nick. Example: p 4) Hit the Connect button. How to use IRC Bot 1) Connect to IRC Channel. 2) Use the IRC commands shown in the DEA command list.
How to configure MOTD 1) Check Enable MOTD under MOTD tab. 2) Fill in the text box with preferred message.
How to configure Logging 1) Check Enable Chat Logging under the Logging tab. 2) Select perferred method to save log. Either Specific File or New File . 3) Specific File saves the chatlog to a master text file regardless if the server has been restarted, while New Filesaves the Log to a new text file whenever the server is restarted.
How to configure Statistics 1) Hit the Kick Stats button, under the Statistics tab, to save the kick stats to a .html file. 2) Hit the Reset Stats button to reset Kick stats.
